The victims who owned more than 1,100 mansions and offices and were unable to get their bond back from the deceased rental business met with government officials.
The government has announced measures such as faster return of the deposit, but victims have complained that the response was insufficient.

The victims of the so-called ‘Villa King’ have gathered.
About 80 affected tenants attended this information session directly, and about 300 people joined online.
They criticized the government’s response as Housing City Guarantee Corporation and HUG (Hug) with one voice.

It is decided to provide loans of up to 160 million won per household at an annual interest rate of 1% for those who do not have guarantee insurance.
Among the tenants of Mr. Kim’s rental business, about 600 people took out guarantee insurance and 195 victims with deposits exceeding 200 million won.
The government plans to hold a second briefing calling the uninsured sooner or later and HUG estimates that number will reach up to 600 people.
