The third disaster subsidy payment began today to small businessmen who were hit directly by Corona 19.
At the site, there were complaints about being confused because they did not know when and how much support money could be received, along with the reaction of’the rain of drought’.

Hae-seong Kang has been running a driver’s restaurant in Seoul for 5 years.
Since the end of last year, social distancing has been upgraded to 2.5 steps, and sales have dropped by 40%.
[강해성 / 서울 북가좌동 : 일주일에 두세 번 오던 손님도 일주일에 한 번, 아니면 2주에 한 번 그렇게 오니까 매출이 감소할 수밖에 없죠.]
The number of customers has been cut in half, but the burden of rent and food costs remains the same, so a penny is urgently needed.
The disaster support text message received in the morning is a reaction to the fact that it is a rain in drought.
[강해성 / 서울 북가좌동 : (안내) 따라서 신청하니까 빨리했죠. 조금이라도 빨리하면 더 빨리 지원금이 들어올까 하고 해봤죠. // 장사가 안되면 쌓이는 게 빚밖에 없는데, 그런 데서 도움이 되는 거죠.]
Kim Dong-wook, who has been running a cafe in downtown Seoul since last year, has not yet received a text message for disaster assistance.
This is because new targets can only receive support funds in mid-March after the review of the VAT report is completed.

It is also a frustrating part of not knowing when and how much to receive the disaster subsidies that vary depending on the industry.

The government cautioned that the’third disaster subsidy’ can only be received if it opened before November 30 last year.
In addition, he added that he asked to confirm the target in advance, as the annual sales are less than 400 million won and the subsidies can only be received if the sales decrease from 2019.
