Nicki Minaj’s husband is registered as a sex offender NOW

Kenneth Petty, the husband of singer Nicki Minaj, has, according to TMZ register as sex offender. He did this shortly after his arrest on Wednesday.

Petty had to register as a delinquent earlier when he moved from New York to California in 2019. In November of that year, he was arrested for a traffic violation and the agent saw that he was not registered.

After paying a deposit, he was released again, but last Wednesday he had to appear again in court. He had to wear an ankle strap temporarily and was not allowed to leave Southern California.

Petty was convicted in 1995 of an attempted rape at the age of sixteen. He would have used a sharp object to force a girl into sex. He was sentenced to prison.
