Jakarta – Singer Denada has addressed public concern regarding a house she recently listed for sale, which appeared neglected in online photos. The property’s condition sparked online discussion, prompting denada to explain the circumstances surrounding its purchase and subsequent lack of occupancy.
Denada clarified that she acquired the house several years ago with funds intended to cover debts incurred during her daughter Aisha’s medical treatment in Singapore during the pandemic.”so, thank God, the Pejaten house was sold. So,with the money,I paid all my debts. Because at that time it was a pandemic, I wasn’t working and Aisha had to be treated in Singapore,” she stated during an appearance on the Pagi Pagi Ambyar program on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Friday (October 24, 2025).
The singer explained the purchase was initiated by her late mother as an investment. “After that, the money was still enough for living expenses in Singapore. Well, there was some left over. At that time,my late mother asked for the money to buy the house. Well, I just handed it all over to my mother and bought the house,” she saeid.Denada confirmed the house was purchased at a favorable price and has remained unoccupied since its acquisition.
“At that time, I bought it at an attractive price, so yes, as my mother asked me to invest the money there, that’s it. It’s been like that as I bought it and never lived in it,” Denada explained. She affirmed the decision to sell was logical given the property’s unused status.
“Yes, because it wasn’t occupied, so what’s the point? It’s an inactive asset, so I decided to just sell it. I also forgot the specifications, I only went there onc to buy it,” she added. The sale proceeds were used to settle outstanding financial obligations.
