The promising stars of our team were able to provide high levels and strong technical performance that led them to shine and achieve distinctive positive results and important victories, starting from the round of 32, all the way to qualifying for the advanced rounds, which reflected the great developments that the game is making and the extent of the success of the federation’s programs and plans in qualifying players and teams for major international competitions. .
6 players succeeded in resolving the semi-final matches and qualifying for the final rounds of the World Muay Thai Championship, where our player Imad Youssef defeated the Kazakhstani Aliya Plantyov and qualified for the 75 kg final, and Khaled Mufid also defeated the Austrian Tim Peters in the semi-final and qualified for the 81 kg final. In addition to the victory of the national team player, Zainab Bouhamada, over the Swedish Emilia Kovso and qualified for the 57 kg final, Rafi Ramzi also qualified for the 86 kg final after defeating the Iranian Kirash Ahmadi in the semi-final match, while our player Mohamed Mardi was able to achieve an important victory over the Moroccan Mohamed Yass.
