Congress workers held a “Sankalp Satyagraha” to protest against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha, while Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath criticised the party, saying those who weaken democracy cannot observe “Satyagraha”. Adityanath made a veiled attack on Gandhi, saying someone with no sympathy for people cannot engage in Satyagraha. Meanwhile, Union minister Giriraj Singh attacked Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar for not commenting on Gandhi’s disqualification.
