In a new step of its kind, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the Actors Union in Egypt announced the opening of a nursing home for members of the union of representative professions in the city of October 6, today, Tuesday, at noon .
The artist, Liqaa Sweidan, has published on her page of the photo sharing site “Instagram” a video clip of the final preparations of the house before the expected opening.

Zaki explained, during a television interview, that the idea had been with all the artists for a long time, and that the house would be for soft power in Egypt, and they are the artists.
The opening ceremony will be held today in the presence of Abdullah Al Owais, representing Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi, ruler of Sharjah, one of the main donors of the house, and a large number of artists.
Zaki stressed that the house, whose fitting out has been fully completed, accommodates 40 people, recalling that artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour, former head of the Actors Syndicate, and artist Muhammad Abu Dawoud will be honored during the ceremony, concluding that the retirement home is a step between the dreams and aspirations of the Actors Syndicate.
Interestingly, Ashraf Zaki returned to the post of captain of acting professions in mid-2015 in the election in its regular session, after his resignation from his years of office.
