The Municipal Auditorium yesterday hosted a charitable play that aimed to support the work carried out by the Discamino project. The initiative was led by the amateur theater group Desfeita Teatro, which performed the humorous play “A Pousada do Tru-Trú”. One of the characteristics of this charity function was that the box office was reversed, that is, the public could enter without paying and then make a donation once the work was over. All the money raised went entirely to the association that for 13 years has been giving people with functional diversity the opportunity to walk the Camino de Santiago. “A Pousada do Trutú” is a work that employs the use of masks; in this case made with latex by the actors themselves. The format corresponds to the Italian commedia dell’arte with characters with a certain role.
