(Haugesund’s Newspaper): (Haugesund): Two missing girls in Haugesund were found safe and sound on the night of Tuesday. It had previously been shared on Facebook that the two, who are in their early teens, were missing on Haugalandet.
At 00:12 it was reported that the girls had been found safe and sound.
At 10pm on Monday evening, operations manager Olaug Bjørnsen told Haugesund’s Avis that a search operation had been launched for the two girls. Both the police and volunteers were called.
The girls were last seen at school around lunchtime on Monday.
– We are aware that two girls have disappeared, and it must have happened while they were at school at a secondary school in Haugesund today, Bjørnsen said at 8.30pm on Monday.
The police announced on Monday evening that investigations were underway.
– There is nothing to indicate that anything criminal is connected to the case, said the operations manager.
