From June 26, it will be easier for Danes to travel in Europe, the Danish Ministry of Justice confirmed on Thursday night.
– Thus, we deliver on the promise that the Danes will be able to travel on summer holidays in Europe, says Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod.
It was expected that the parties in the Folketing would land an agreement in which the current travel restrictions will be replaced by the EU’s corona passport scheme.
This means that there will be no requirement for quarantine upon entry, and that there will only be a requirement for a test before boarding for those returning home from so-called red countries. Tourists with a corona passport are also welcome in Denmark.
