‘Confused man’ picked up with ax at Frisian fire station | Inland

During the arrest, the police fired warning shots. Officers were ‘forced to’, reports the Friesland police: the shots were fired after the man had already been asked several times to drop the ax. When he did not respond, pepper spray was used and that had no effect because he came threatening to the officers.

According to the police, the arrested man behaved confused and called for narcotics. He has been transferred to the police station for questioning.
