‘Saturday Night Live’ Returns Tonight with host Timothée Chalamet and musical Guest Boygenius
New York, NY – October 19, 2025 – “Saturday Night Live” is back with a new season and a highly anticipated premiere episode tonight, featuring Academy Award-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet as host and the critically acclaimed indie supergroup Boygenius as the musical guest. The show will air live from NBC Studios in New York City at 11:30 p.m. ET / 10:30 p.m. CT.
The 51st season of ”SNL” arrives following a summer of cast changes and an Emmy win for outstanding Variety Special at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, celebrated by Lorne Michaels and colin Jost. The new season marks a fresh chapter for the long-running sketch comedy show, with five new cast members joining the ensemble: Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikowska. These additions come after the departures of Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Emil Wakim, Devon Walker, and Michael Longfellow, announced throughout August and September.
