Allegiant Airlines to Expand Florida service with 11 New Routes in early 2026
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – November 26, 2025 – Allegiant Airlines announced today a critically important expansion of its Florida service, adding 11 new nonstop routes to its network beginning in February 2026. The airline will connect several key Florida cities with destinations across the United States, bolstering travel options for both residents and tourists.
This expansion builds on Allegiant’s existing presence in Florida, where it currently serves 13 airports including Destin-Fort Walton beach (VPS), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), Jacksonville (JAX), Key West (EYW), Melbourne Orlando (MLB), Orlando (MCO & SFB), Punta gorda (PGD), Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ), St. Pete-Clearwater (TPA), and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). Southwest Florida international Airport (RSW) was recently added to Allegiant’s network starting in November 2025.
While Allegiant did not release a complete list of all 30 new routes nationwide, the 11 Florida additions will provide increased accessibility to popular destinations. Details regarding specific cities and flight schedules are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
Other airlines are also adjusting their Florida routes.Spirit Airlines recently announced a new nonstop flight to Belize from Fort Lauderdale, operating three times weekly. Spirit also resumed nonstop service between Palm Beach International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport on December 4. Avelo Airlines announced new flights between Lakeland Linder International Airport and Detroit, and also restored nonstop flights to Atlanta, both starting in February 2026.
