Police are on the trail of a subject who allegedly raped a young woman on the Upper West Side.
Images of the suspect have been published by the uniformed.
The incident occurred yesterday at about 1:20 a.m., when a subject followed a 21-year-old woman into a building near West End Avenue and West 65th Street.
Once inside, he forced her out of the elevator and led her to a stairwell where he raped her.
The individual then forced the woman out of the building and fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported to an area hospital.
