The New York Stock Exchange opened slightly lower on Friday, attempting a timid rebound after three sessions of decline, in the absence of major macroeconomic news in the United States, before a busier week.
In early trading, the Dow Jones gained 0.04%, the Nasdaq index gained 0.25% and the broader S&P 500 index gained 0.16%.
