Following a break, the trial resumed with testimony from the defendant, Taleb A.He explained his continued hunger strike as “a sign of desperation.” A. asserted he did not intend to kill as many people as possible and denied any right-wing extremist motivations, stating, “I am definitely left-wing.” He also reiterated conspiracy theories regarding alleged “Islamization,” leveled accusations against authorities, and described alleged torture experienced while in custody at Burg JVA.
