Licette Arrese, CEO of Casaideas Peru, has been recognized by both Forbes and Ad Age for her leadership in the Peruvian retail sector, according to announcements made on February 16, 2026.
Forbes Peru included Arrese in its annual list, “Las 50 mujeres más poderosas de Perú en 2025” (The 50 Most Powerful Women in Peru in 2025), acknowledging her role in managing the Peruvian operations of the Chilean home design company. This recognition coincides with Ad Age’s launch of “Leading Women Peru,” an initiative also recognizing influential female professionals in the country.
Arrese’s tenure with Casaideas Peru began approximately eight years ago as Gerente de Administración y Finanzas (Administration and Finance Manager). She was promoted to Gerencia General (General Manager) in 2023, assuming full responsibility for the department store chain’s operations within Peru. Casaideas Peru currently operates 25 stores, in addition to an online sales channel and recently celebrated its 20th anniversary in the country.
A graduate of the Universidad de Piura, Arrese holds degrees in Economics and Business Administration. She furthered her education with an MBA from the PAD – Escuela de Dirección at the same university. According to the Universidad de Piura, Arrese expressed a sense of responsibility following the Forbes announcement, stating a commitment to service and purpose.
The recognition from Forbes follows the publication of their list of the most influential women in Peru on June 10, 2025. Arrese’s leadership at Casaideas Peru is credited with steering the company through a period of growth, as it maintains a significant presence in the Peruvian market.
