Daewon Pharmaceutical to Host National Online Symposium ‘AGORA WEEK’ for Healthcare Professionals
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – October 13, 2024 - Daewon Pharmaceutical announced today it will present ‘D-Talks AGORA WEEK,’ a five-day online academic symposium geared towards healthcare professionals nationwide, running from October 20th to 24th.
The event,hosted through Daewon Pharmaceutical’s medical facts platform ‘Detox‘ – launched in 2022 – builds upon the company’s commitment to “Healthy Digital Habits D-Talks” with over 200 online symposia held annually. AGORA WEEK serves as a extensive academic conference, occurring twice yearly, designed to provide practical education and expert insights for practitioners.
this fall’s AGORA WEEK carries the theme ‘Experts answer teachers’ questions,’ with dedicated Q&A sessions integrated into every lecture.
The symposium’s schedule includes:
* October 20th: Focus on ’Diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases’ moderated by Professor Jeon Ho-wook (Catholic University of Korea) with presentations from professors kim Jeong-gon (Inje University School of Medicine) and Kwon Eui-jong (Catholic University of Korea) covering ankylosing spondylitis and rheumatoid arthritis.
* October 21st: Family medicine specialist Sanghyun Ahn (Dankook University Hospital) will present on utilizing Artificial intelligence in clinical practice under the topic ’Starting today, I too am a doctor using AI.’
* october 22nd: Professor Oh Oh Il-hwan (Eulji University Medical School, Gastroenterology) will deliver a comprehensive lecture on ’Everything about digestive medicine A to Z.’
* October 23rd: A session dedicated to ‘Diagnosis and Treatment of Pediatric Respiratory Diseases’ chaired by Professor Son Myeong-hyun (Yonsei University School of Medicine, Pediatrics) featuring Professors Kim Yun-hee (Yonsei University School of Medicine, Pediatrics) and Jihye-mi Ji (Cha Medical School, Pediatrics).
* October 24th: Professor Kim tae-nyeon (Inje University, Endocrinology and Metabolism) will chair a discussion with Professor Heo Chang-min (Inje University School of Medicine, Nephrology) on topics including ‘The value of empagliflozin-based SGLT2 inhibitors’ and ’Clinical value of combined diabetes treatment.’
