LOS​ ANGELES – For the ‌first time,⁤ an ‌NFL regular season game will be streamed live and free to all viewers on YouTube this​ Friday, September 5th,⁤ as the Los Angeles Chargers face‍ the Kansas City ‌Chiefs. The game marks a significant expansion⁤ of the ‌NFL’s media strategy, offering ⁤fans access​ beyond conventional television and paid streaming services.

The week 1 contest will be available⁣ via⁢ live stream on YouTube ⁤and YouTube TV. In the Kansas City and Los ‌Angeles markets, the game will also be broadcast on local ⁢stations‌ KSHB 41 ⁢(KC) and ​NBC4 Los Angeles (LA). ⁣Pregame coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET, with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.

Viewers can ‍access the stream through the YouTube app on smart TVs and mobile devices.
