Jealousy-Fueled Attack: Woman Stripped, Assaulted in Pontianak

A harrowing incident in West Kalimantan saw a young woman subjected to a brutal assault, highlighting the dangers of online harassment and interpersonal conflict. The victim, identified as NN, was targeted and physically attacked by three other women due to alleged romantic rivalry.

The Confrontation

The event took place in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, where NN, aged 20, was confronted by PT, AF, and SQ. The attackers accused NN of having an affair with PT‘s boyfriend. The assault took place in a house on Jalan Martadinata, West Pontianak, on June 13, 2025, at approximately 2:53 PM Western Indonesian Time.

PT initiated the attack, inviting the other two to inflict violence on NN. According to authorities, the initial motive stemmed from the jealousy of one of the perpetrators.

The confrontation quickly escalated when the women argued and began to physically attack NN. She was dragged out of a room and subjected to beatings, including being kicked while forced to kneel.

The attackers also forced NN to remove her clothing, and one of the perpetrators recorded the incident. Subsequently, the video was shared on SQ‘s social media account, and another copy was sent to another Instagram account. This act of sharing the video amplified the distress inflicted upon the victim.
