Investigation Details

As of Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Garut Police Station confirmed that two victims have formally filed reports accusing the doctor of sexual abuse.

So far there are two victims who have reported to us.

These initial reports do not include the victim featured in a viral video circulating online, suggesting at least three known victims. Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing that all reports will be handled with sensitivity and discretion.

Several women have shared their experiences, detailing disturbing encounters during medical examinations. Their accounts paint a troubling picture of alleged misconduct.

Mawar’s Account

Mawar, a woman from Cibatu District, recounted her unsettling experience with the doctor, noting that initial interactions seemed innocuous.

At first it was not suspicious when asking for my WA number. But later it was strange, how come the chat led to negative things.

Mawar stated that the doctor requested her phone number under the guise of needing it for Ultrasonography (USG) results around mid-2024. Alarmed by the subsequent inappropriate messages, Mawar reported the incident to her husband.

Melati’s Experience

Melati, a 27-year-old from Tarogong Kaler, described feeling uneasy during an ultrasound examination conducted by MSF.

When I checked, indeed I felt somthing was strange. How come his hands were going up (to the breast). But I thought it was just my feelings.

Melati initially dismissed her discomfort, but the emergence of similar accounts online validated her concerns.

But when this case appeared on social media, I was sure that it was an unusual action. As it turned out that many speak ups also experienced the same thing.

Following the ultrasound, Melati said the doctor requested her phone number, ostensibly to send photos from the session. Though, she later received unsolicited messages.

After sending photos, at night the chat, if you want to check again, you can just come. He said he would be given a free 4-dimensional ultrasound.

Bunga’s Testimony

Bunga shared a particularly disturbing account,alleging physical assault during an ultrasound examination.

At that time I was freeze as I didn’t expect it. I also wondered that the ultrasound held my breasts. I came home and told my husband, because when my ultrasound was escorted by my brother.

bunga’s husband was reportedly outraged upon hearing her account. Initially hesitant to pursue the matter due to uncertainty, the couple felt vindicated by the recent surge of similar allegations.

Social Media Revelation

The allegations against MSF gained traction after a victim shared screenshots of inappropriate messages allegedly sent by the doctor on social media.

In an Instastory post, the victim narrated receiving a lewd message from the doctor after mentioning difficulty sleeping.

Call to Action

Authorities are urging any other potential victims to come forward and report their experiences. Support services are available for those affected by sexual harassment. The Garut Police Department has established a dedicated hotline for reporting information related to this case.
