A tourist from China creates ‘poor’ holiday content in Japan. These videos made people in two countries emotional.

Quoted from the South China Morning Post, Sunday (11/10/2025), a man by the name of Yikeshu was the perpetrator. He claims to be influencer journey with nearly 200,000 followers on Chinese social media. One of the contents is a trip to Osaka, Japan.

He was highlighted after documenting his journey with a video entitled “Welcome to watch my journey in Osaka with 100 yuan.

The video starts from landing at Kansai International Airport. He queued at customs and ignored the ‘no recording’ signs, taking random photos and muttering “straight into little Japan.”

In the airport toilet, he acted even more annoying. Instead of using public facilities wisely, he instead washed his hair in the sink and dried it with a hand dryer.

His ridiculous behavior continues. He continued his journey to Osaka on the Nankai Electric Train. Instead of sitting upright, he instead did pull-ups and dangled. In fact, he lay on a chair while singing the patriotic song ‘Love My China’.

To save money, he entered a restaurant and asked for tea which was given free to customers. After drinking the tea, he then left without buying anything.

Stepping into the local market, he hunted down all the free food samples to save on food costs. Without shame, he ate up to 7 grape samples. The seller was emotional and took all the samples before the tourist finished them.

The video infuriated netizens from China and Japan. They said that Yikeshu was a shameless person.

“To be honest, I don’t have a problem with most Chinese tourists, but it only takes one person like this to destroy the whole image,” said a Japanese netizen.

“Some people work hard to build a positive image for Chinese people, while others try hard to destroy it. Why don’t these platforms block people like this?” said Chinese netizens.

“People like this are a cancer for China’s international image. Years of efforts by 100 people can be destroyed in an instant with just one person’s stupid actions,” said another.

Seeing the many criticisms, the tourist deleted the video. There was no apology, he just disappeared temporarily because he was afraid of criticism in the comments column.
