by Lucas Fernandez – World Editor

Hong Kong Teh inaugural “SC WIN Now & Next Challenge” culminated last week with the declaration of winners from the 11-week LiftHER Global Accelerator Program, marking a significant milestone in Standard Chartered and LIFTWOMEN®’s commitment to fostering women entrepreneurship in Hong Kong. Launched in March 2025, the programme received over 125 applications and showcased the vision and drive of women-led ventures across the region.

The initiative aims to address the persistent funding gap faced by women entrepreneurs and provide them with the resources and network needed to scale their businesses. Ten finalists participated in the intensive accelerator programme, culminating in a live finale where they pitched their transformational ideas. Lamia Sreya Rahman, founder of Vidi Labs (Seekr), secured the venture of the Year Award for her pioneering AI wearable device designed in collaboration with the visually impaired community.

Rahman’s device captures visual data and delivers a curated audio feed in multiple languages, offering a critical accessibility solution. Additional category awards recognized entrepreneurial excellence in key areas: Tata Miyamoto & Vriko Kwok of NOURWISH received the global Growth Award; Florence Chanzi of AI guided Limited was honored with the Impact & ESG Excellence Award; Choi Pui Wah of WomenX Biotech Limited earned both the Best Innovation Award and the People’s Choice Award.
