Mossad Increasingly‌ Relies on Female ‍Agents ⁤for Operations in Iran, Report⁢ Claims

Jerusalem – A recent report ‌in ‌the Jerusalem Post details a growing reliance on female ‍operatives within Israel’s⁣ mossad intelligence agency,⁣ notably in⁣ missions targeting Iran’s nuclear program. The report, which cites sources within ‍the⁤ Israeli security establishment, suggests women now form a “crucial operational nucleus” for the agency’s⁣ foreign⁢ operations.

According⁣ to the Jerusalem ‍Post, ⁢dozens of female agents infiltrated⁤ Iran last June as part of‌ a coordinated effort to disrupt the Ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions. While the specific actions undertaken by these agents remain classified, the report highlights the⁤ increasing scope of their ‍roles. Traditionally utilized for intelligence gathering and surveillance, these agents ‍are‌ now being trained for direct action, including attacks and the recruitment of local spies.

this shift in strategy is reportedly driven by Mossad Director david Barnea. The Jerusalem Post notes ⁤the recent ⁣recognition of agent “G,” a specialist in Iranian‍ intelligence, during Israel’s Independence⁢ Day celebrations – ‍honored with a dedicated ceremony -⁢ as indicative of ⁢this changing landscape.

The June operation involved hundreds of⁣ agents working together, leveraging support from Iranian dissidents to compromise radar platforms and ballistic missile systems. This intelligence gathering proved critical, ‍allowing Israeli forces to strike ⁣military objectives ‌with ⁤precision. The report claims ⁣iranian defenses were slow to react, only‍ mounting a response on the second day of attacks.

Currently, the Mossad maintains a detailed understanding ⁢of Iran’s uranium enrichment program, monitoring locations where‍ enriched ⁣uranium remains. ⁣The recent strikes targeted facilities in Natanz, ‌Fordow, and Isfahan, along with a dozen other sites. However, the Jerusalem Post reports that over 400 kilograms‍ of uranium enriched to 60% remains intact – a quantity sufficient to⁤ produce five nuclear bombs if further enriched.

The⁢ report underscores ⁢the ongoing concern over Iran’s nuclear capabilities and the continued efforts ⁤by⁤ Israel to prevent ⁣the progress of a nuclear weapon.
