Labor Day 2025 Trump protests in MA include Cape Cod. See map.

Massachusetts to See Labor Day Protests ‌Focused on Worker Rights, Opposition to Trump Administration

WORCESTER, MA – September 1, 2025 – Labor Day in Massachusetts will be ​marked by a series of protests across the state, including on⁣ Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard, organized by labor and community groups focused on advocating ⁤for workers’ rights and ​opposing policies associated with the Trump administration. This year marks Worcester‘s first-ever Labor Day ‍parade, intended to “honor the victories of the past”​ according to organizers.Organized power In Numbers ‌Executive Director Neidi Dominguez stated,”In this moment ⁤the only way forward is to‍ choose workers over billionaires every day.” dominguez highlighted the significance of the coordinated effort, noting it’s the first time in a long time labor and community groups are uniting for mass protests on Labor⁤ Day.

Protests are ‌planned for Sandwich (2 p.m. at ‍Sandwich Town Offices, 100 Route ⁤6A), Eastham (10 a.m. at the Salt Pond Visitor Center, 50 Nauset Road), and Tisbury on Martha’s Vineyard (11 a.m. at ⁤5 Corners, 1 Lagoon Pond Road). A Worcester “overpass standout” is scheduled for 43 Belmont St.

Organizers are also focused on long-term ⁤activist training, anticipating continued protests throughout the remainder of Trump’s ‌term and ‍beyond. Activist ‍Bhatti explained, “We certainly know that we are in a period of history in which it’s going to take a lot of mass protests all across the country⁣ to be able to really really ⁣turn back the tide of authoritarianism.”

Pringle emphasized the need for‌ organized action, stating, “Organized people will always ⁢win over organized money but we ⁣have to organize, we have ⁣to be intentional and we have to ⁤understand our⁤ power.”
