Mojokerto, East Java – A young woman’s promise of marriage ended in a horrific discovery: her body was found dismembered into 554 pieces in Pacet, Mojokerto. Alvi, a man from Labuhanbatu, North Sumatra, has been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Tiara, a recent university graduate.
The case has deeply shaken Tiara’s family and drawn attention to the shocking violence. Tiara, described by her father as an independent and intelligent daughter, was a cum laude graduate of Trunojoyo Madura University, completing her Management degree in just 3.5 years with a GPA of 3.75. The investigation is ongoing, with the family seeking the maximum penalty for the perpetrator and expressing gratitude for the swift action of the police.
tiara’s father recounted her academic achievements, noting she was accepted into a prestigious public school in Lamongan during middle school and later attended Darul Ulum High School in Jombang while living at a pesantren (Islamic boarding school). She took a gap year before beginning her studies at UTM Bangkalan.
The family had been aware of Alvi, as he had previously visited their home. They never suspected he would commit such a violent act. Upon receiving Tiara’s remains, her father voiced a desperate plea for severe punishment. “if you can be punished accordingly because it is too sadistic, yes as much as possible the punishment,” he stated, visibly distraught.
Police have confirmed Alvi’s arrest and are continuing to investigate the motive and circumstances surrounding the murder. The case is being closely followed by the public, with many expressing outrage and sympathy for the victim and her family.
