Gulf Coast Gas Prices Drop: Latest Prices & Interactive Map

Gulf Coast drivers are seeing relief ‍at the⁣ pump, as regional gas prices fell for the second week in⁤ a row. As of Monday, the average⁣ price for ‌a‍ gallon⁤ of regular fuel is $2.67, down ​from ‌$2.72 last week, according ‍to the U.S. Energy⁢ Facts Administration (EIA).

This decline continues a‍ trend of price fluctuations throughout the past year.⁤ The ‌EIA ⁣reports gulf Coast gas prices have ranged ⁢from a‍ low of $2.56 on December 16,2024,to a high of $2.84 on ‍June 23, 2025. Currently, prices are 1% lower than the average ⁤price ‍of $2.70 per ⁤gallon recorded a year ‌ago.

The⁣ Gulf ⁣coast region – encompassing Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, ​and⁤ Texas – benefits‍ from ⁢prices approximately 14.3% lower than the national average of‌ $3.12 per gallon as of ‌last week. The national⁢ average also⁤ saw a slight decrease, dropping ⁤from $3.17 the previous week.
