BTS’s Jin Shatters Records with ‘Runseokjin Tour,’ Dominates Billboard Charts
LOS ANGELES, CA – BTS’s Jin has achieved unprecedented success with his solo world tour, “Runseokjin Tour” (#Runseokjin_ep.tour), setting new benchmarks for K-pop solo artists on the Billboard charts. The tour, spanning from June 28 to August 10, included 18 performances across nine cities – Seoul, Chiba, Osaka, Dallas, Tampa, New York, London, and Amsterdam.
Jin’s European leg alone generated $11.5 million in revenue from just four performances in London (August 5-6) and a further $32.5 million with 217,000 attendees earning him the highest revenue and largest audience of any Asian soloist on the Billboard Top Tours Monthly Chart in July. He afterward ranked 24th on the August 2025 chart.
The osaka Kyocera Dome concerts on July 12-13 yielded $9.6 million, marking the highest-grossing concert schedule at that venue and establishing a new record for a K-pop solo artist according to Billboard Top Boxscores. All eight floors of the Osaka Dome were filled, largely by Japanese fans.
Beyond tour revenue, Jin holds the record for the most number-one songs (7) on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart. His album Echo became the first and only K-pop solo album to enter the Billboard World Albums chart in 2025, and he is currently the best-selling K-pop solo artist in the United States for the year, based on pure album sales.
Critical acclaim has accompanied the tour’s commercial success. Rolling Stone (England) awarded Jin’s world tour a five-star rating, calling him a “unique entertainer.” Paris Match (France) praised his humor, stage presence, and diverse skillset as “a perfect gift to fans.”
Jin will continue to connect with fans through performances of ‘Runseokjin_ep.tour_Engore’ at the Incheon Literature Stadium main stadium on October 31 and November 1.
