NFL International Series Returns to Germany in Week 10 with Panthers–Giants Matchup
The NFL will bring a regular season game back to Germany in Week 10 of the 2024 season, as the Carolina Panthers are set to face the New York Giants in munich on November 10, 2024. This marks the continuation of the NFL’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and delivering live American football to international fans.
The NFL’s foray into international games began in 2007 with a contest in London, and has since expanded to include annual games in Mexico City, Germany, and, beginning in 2024, São Paulo, Brazil. Germany has quickly become a key market for the league, demonstrating a passionate and growing fanbase. The upcoming Panthers-Giants game builds on the success of the November 13, 2022, matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks, also held in Munich, which drew a crowd of over 67,000.
The NFL’s international schedule for the coming years includes games in multiple locations. In 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins 21-14 in Frankfurt on November 5, and the Indianapolis Colts topped the New England Patriots 10-6 in Frankfurt on november 12. Further games are planned for 2025, including a contest between the Indianapolis Colts and the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin on November 9, 2025, and a matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders in Madrid on November 16, 2025.
Beyond Germany, the NFL has established a presence in other international markets.Mexico City has hosted games as 2016, with the moast recent contest taking place on November 21, 2022, featuring the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals. São Paulo will host its first NFL game on September 6, 2024, with the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Green Bay Packers, and a second game is scheduled for September 5, 2025, between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Dublin is set to host a game on September 28, 2025, with the Pittsburgh Steelers facing the Minnesota Vikings, and Melbourne, Australia, is scheduled to host a game on November 9, 2025.
