Trump Threatens Military Action Against Nigeria Over Christian Killings

by Lucas Fernandez – World Editor

The campaign to drop out the Nobel Peace Prize is over… Donald Trump threatened Nigeria with military action on Saturday. The American president calls on the most populous country in Africa to stop what he considers to be ” murders of Christians » by “Islamist terrorists”.

“If the Nigerian government continues to tolerate the killings of Christians, the United States will immediately stop all aid to Nigeria, and may very well descend on this now disgraced country to completely destroy the Islamist terrorists who are committing these horrific atrocities. I order the Department of War to prepare for possible action,” the American president wrote on his Truth Social platform.

Recurring accusations

Nigerian authorities deny accusations of persecution of Christians in the country.

This accusation from Donald Trump is not the first of its kind concerning an African country. Last year he accused South Africa of hiding murders and expropriations of white and Christian farmers. None of these accusations were founded and all have been invalidated by several institutions.
