The day’s schedule includes a series of wellness activities beginning with Vinyasa yoga at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Nia dance session – a practice blending dance, martial arts, and body awareness - at 10:30 a.m. A conference on “female hormones at any age” will be held at 11:30 a.m., preceding another yoga session.
Throughout the day, workshops will focus on breast cancer screening awareness, including self-examination techniques (autopalpation).Additional workshops will be offered in “Therapist art,” reflexology, and massage.
Participants can also join a solidarity hike departing at 2 p.m. from the media library. the hike offers two looped routes – 5km and 9km – and is open to walkers, runners, cyclists, and even equestrians. Registration is €20, and food and beverages will be available on-site.
The event underscores the critical importance of breast cancer screening, with studies showing that 1 in 2 women report lacking sufficient knowledge about the disease. “Sainté en rose” seeks to address this gap and empower individuals with the details they need to prioritize their health.
