Estonia is providing Ukraine with €3.5 million for Starlink systems, funded through the Ukraine Aid Package 2025 and facilitated by the Estonian-Luxembourg-led IT Coalition. Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur emphasized the support’s importance for battlefield communications, notably with Ukraine’s planned expansion of drone formations. Estonia has already committed approximately 0.3% of its GDP to military assistance, defense force training, and IT support for Ukraine in 2025.

Hungarian Prime minister Viktor Orbán dismissed fears of a Russian attack on the EU and NATO, stating Russia “is not strong enough” to succeed in such an endeavor, citing its struggles in fully occupying Ukraine. However, Orbán cautioned that a Russian military defeat in Ukraine would considerably increase the risk of nuclear conflict, stating, “If a nuclear power loses a conventional war, then I am absolutely certain (…) then the nuclear risk is instantly on the table.”

the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) reports that four S-400 rocket launchers and two radars were destroyed in drone strikes targeting port and oil facilities in Russia’s Novorossiysk. Satellite imagery,published by The Kyiv Independent,purportedly shows four destroyed launch pads of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system at the military base.
