Suzuki’s first electric car is likely to launch at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show or GIIAS 2025 exhibition. The vehicle is the Suzuki e-Vitara as the final product of the EVX concept car.

The strong signal of Suzuki E-Vitara glides at GIIAS 2025 delivered by Donny Saputra as Deputy Managing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS). Donny did not clearly reveal his model, but his sentence led to a new segment that had never been tested by Suzuki.

When asked to reveal the model or segment, Donny was still closed. However, the vehicle is believed to be able to be a major concern at the exhibition.

“Don’t ask for electricity or not, including what model,” he said.

Previously, when the launch of Suzuki Fronx in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Donny had talked about the appearance of Suzuki’s first electric car in Indonesia. At that time, he claimed he would sell it next year and open it partially starting this month.

“Later, more detailed information, wait during GIIAS 2025. Later we will open (Suzuki Electric Cars) partially slowly as we open information related to Fronx,” he said, two months ago.

For the record, Suzuki Evitara had previously launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo exhibition which was held in India in January. The vehicle received a number of improvements compared to the concept version, especially in the exterior.

Suzuki Evitara is equipped with two battery options, namely LFP (Lithium Ferro Phosphate) in a capacity of 49 KWH and 61 KWH. While the maximum range translucent 500 km. Although it has been launched in India, the official price will only be announced next September.
