saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets Village Hall to Host Comedic Play “Full-Time Mistress”
Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets, France – A new comedic play, “Full-Time Mistress,” will premiere at the village hall on Friday, November 7th at 8:00 p.m., offering a free evening of entertainment. the play centers on Patricia,a woman whose life takes a turn when her two lovers,Christian and Vincent, unexpectedly move in with her. What begins as an exciting arrangement quickly devolves into a quest to rid herself of the unwelcome houseguests.
The production, penned by an author known for successful comedies including “Part-Time Lovers,” “Ado une jour à dos toujours,” “You want or you want not,” “Blabladrive,” and “Les Vilaines,” explores the complexities of modern relationships. As the play’s narrative suggests, “A lover serves to surprise, it amazes, it amuses. it showers you with gifts. It comes unexpectedly,it leaves on the sly, quietly. It brings the unexpected. Otherwise, it’s called a husband!”
After a few days sharing a roof, the initial allure of having two lovers fades, replaced by the practical challenge of cohabitation. The play promises a humorous take on this predicament, with Patricia ultimately devising “THE solution” – as women always do – to her elaborate situation.
