Hilarious Habitats: Comedy wildlife Photography Awards Unveils funniest Animal Photos
LONDON – The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have revealed their collection of the year’s funniest animal snapshots, showcasing a delightful array of goofy grins, awkward poses, and perfectly-timed expressions from the animal kingdom. The awards, now in their seventh year, aim to promote wildlife conservation through humor.
The competition, founded by Paul Higgins, celebrates the lighter side of nature photography, encouraging photographers to capture comical moments that highlight the personalities of wildlife. This year’s entries span the globe, featuring creatures great and small in a variety of amusing situations. Competition categories include Alex Walker’s Serian Mammals Category, Spectrum Photo Birds category, ThinkTANK reptiles and Amphibians Category, Fish and Othre Aquatic Species, Insects Category, Nikon Young Photographer (up to 25 years), Nikon Junior Category (up to 16 years), Amazing Internet Portfolio Category, and Nikon Video Category.
Wildlife enthusiasts and members of the public can participate by voting for their favorite image in the People’s Choice Award category between Dec. 10 and March 1, 2026, via the competition’s website: http://comedywildlifephoto.com/. The winner will be announced on March 12, 2026.
