Busan Launches ⁢Campaign to⁢ Attract National Dental research Institute

The launch included a rally, slogan performances,⁤ free dental screenings provided by​ Pusan National ⁤university Dental Hospital,⁣ and a​ public ⁢signature ⁢campaign. These activities were designed to engage attendees of the National​ Sports Festival and showcase Busan’s enthusiasm for attracting the research facility.

Busan officials emphasize the city’s suitability ‌for the institute, citing its advanced medical capabilities, cutting-edge dental technology, and a thriving dental industry. Currently, ⁣Busan boasts 1,800 ⁣dental medical and industrial⁣ institutions ⁢- 1,353 dental hospitals and clinics, and 489‌ dental ⁢laboratories – employing over ​5,200 professionals, ranking it third ​largest in South Korea after Seoul and Gyeonggi ​province.

Furthermore, Busan benefits from a ⁢strong ​pipeline⁣ of skilled professionals, with 11 universities, including Pusan ⁢National University’s Graduate School of ⁢Dentistry, ​providing continuous ​training for dentists, dental technicians, and dental hygienists. The presence of leading implant companies like DIO‍ Co. and Cowell Medi ⁣Co., Ltd. further solidifies Busan’s competitive position within the ‌dental industry.
