Al-Marsad newspaper: Bahraini artist Haifa Hussein revealed that she began her treatment journey for a disease that threatens her with loss of speech.
I started treatment
Haifa Hussein said in a circulated video that she had begun treatment at a medical center in Abu Dhabi in the Emirates on a trip that would last 3 weeks, adding, “During which I will not be able to speak except in a very low voice and with such a low pitch that I will not be able to make an effort to raise my voice.”
Severe cold
She explained that she felt tired in her voice 3 months ago when she contracted a severe cold, while filming her scenes in the series “Luna’s Story” in Jordan. When she returned to Bahrain, she lost her voice for 10 days, which prompted her to visit a specialist doctor who confirmed that her vocal cords and mouth muscles were tired, and asked her to go to a speech pathologist.
