apple Plans Wave of New Products Following iPhone 17 launch
CUPERTINO,CA – Following the anticipated release of the iPhone 17,Apple is preparing to launch at least ten additional products between now adn the first half of 2026,according to BloombergS Mark Gurman. The forthcoming lineup includes upgrades to existing devices and a potential entry into a new product category, signaling a period of notable expansion for the tech giant.
The product roadmap,as detailed by Gurman in his “Power On” newsletter,features updates across Apple’s core product lines. An M5-powered iPad Pro is expected as early as October, perhaps featuring a second front-facing camera for portrait-mode users. Upgraded MacBook pros and MacBook Airs, also powered by the M5 chip, are slated for release in early 2026.
Apple is also developing a more affordable iPhone, the 17e, planned for early next year. While largely similar to the iPhone 16e, the 17e will incorporate the new A19 chip. Updates are also planned for Apple TV and HomePod mini, both receiving processor upgrades and support for the latest version of Siri and Apple Intelligence features. The Vision Pro headset will see a refresh with an M4 processor and an improved headband, with a more significant update anticipated in 2027.
Among the most anticipated releases is a smart home hub, internally code-named J490. Though previously rumored for a March 2024 launch, the device is now expected in the spring, representing Apple’s first new major product category in several years.
Rounding out the planned releases are updated AirTags with improved range thanks to a new wireless chip, and two new 27-inch monitors, codenamed J427 and J527, potentially replacing the aging Pro Display XDR and Studio Display.
