Amazon Bazaar Rolls Out to 14 New Markets Following Successful Launch in Mexico and UAE
SEATTLE - November 8, 2024 – Amazon is expanding its value-focused shopping experiences, Amazon Bazaar and Amazon Haul, into 14 additional markets. The expansion includes Argentina, Bahrain, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Kuwait, nigeria, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, and Taiwan.
Amazon Bazaar, which operates under the name Amazon Haul in some regions, offers products generally priced under $10 across categories like fashion, home goods, and lifestyle. Customers in these new markets will be able to use their existing Amazon credentials to access the shopping experience.
The rollout follows the initial success of Amazon Haul in Australia,France,Germany,Italy,Japan,Spain,the United Kingdom,and the United States,and Amazon Bazaar in Mexico,saudi Arabia,and the United Arab Emirates.
Launched in the U.S. in November 2024, Amazon Haul initially offered products priced at $20 or less, with the majority costing $10 or less and some items available for as low as $1.
“Finding great products at very low prices is vital to customers, and we continue to explore ways that we can work with our selling partners so they can offer products at ultra-low prices,” said Dharmesh Mehta, vice president of Worldwide Selling Partner Services at Amazon, in a press release at the time of the U.S. launch. “Amazon Haul aims to help make shopping for fashion, home, lifestyle, electronics and other products even more fun, easy and affordable, all backed by Amazon’s A-to-Z product guarantee so customers can shop with confidence that the products they’re purchasing are safe, authentic and in the condition expected.”
Amazon describes the app as combining value-focused shopping with interactive entertainment features like social lucky draws and promotions.
