Arizona Climbs too No. 3 in USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll
Purdue remains the No. 1 team in the USA TODAY Sports men’s basketball coaches poll released November 24, 2025, while Arizona jumped to No. 3 following a strong start to the season.The Boilermakers received 23 of 31 first-place votes.
Houston holds the No. 2 position, garnering two first-place votes.Arizona moved up to No. 3 after earning five first-place votes, propelled by a true road win at Connecticut and earlier victories against Florida and UCLA. Duke is ranked No. 4, and louisville rounds out the top five.
Michigan is sixth,followed by UConn at No. 7. Florida, Alabama, and Gonzaga complete the top 10. Michigan State climbed six positions to No. 12,while Illinois fell six spots to No. 14 and Kentucky dropped five to No. 19.
North Carolina state debuted at No. 22, and Auburn re-entered the poll at No. 25. Wisconsin and Kansas were the week’s dropouts.
