TikTok Influencer Ben Bader, 25, Died of Heart Disease, Autopsy Reveals
Jupiter, FL – The cause of death for 25-year-old tiktok and social media influencer Ben Bader has been determined to be coronary atherosclerosis due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, according to a report released by the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner. Bader died on october 23 after collapsing at a private club gym in Jupiter, Florida.
Bader was found unconscious by a fellow gym patron at approximately 6:28 p.m., just minutes after finishing a workout on a treadmill, according to security footage cited in the report. Emergency responders attempted to revive him before transporting him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
While fatal cardiac events are uncommon in individuals Bader’s age, doctors note that atherosclerosis – a condition where plaque builds up in the arteries - often begins developing much earlier in life and can progress without noticeable symptoms for years.Studies have found early plaque buildup in a important number of young adults, with researchers observing an increase in severe coronary disease appearing at younger ages than in previous decades.
The autopsy revealed “no significant trauma” to Bader’s body. The medical examiner’s report also indicated that “genetic factors were likely involved in the development of arteriosclerosis” and recommended that Bader’s family members consult with their primary care physicians.
Bader, originally from Cincinnati, had amassed a following of over 200,000 across TikTok, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and other platforms.He shared lifestyle commentary, financial advice, and tutorials through his coaching platform, The Artisan Lab.
according to the medical examiner’s report, Bader’s mother reported he had been in “relatively good health” aside from recent back and shoulder pain for which he was receiving physical therapy. His death came as a shock to his followers, many of whom had seen his final TikTok video – offering financial advice – posted earlier that same day.
