Trenton, NJ – Drivers in the Central Atlantic region are facing higher prices at the pump, as the average cost of regular gasoline rose to $3.13 per gallon on Monday, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). This marks the second consecutive week of increases, up from $3.10 last week.
The Central atlantic region – encompassing Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania - has seen fuel prices fluctuate over the past year. The EIA reports a low of $3.05 per gallon on June 9, 2025, and a high of $3.22 on September 8, 2025. Currently, prices are roughly in line with last year, remaining 0% lower than the $3.12 average seen at this time in 2024.
The regional average of $3.13 is approximately 2.3% higher than the national average of $3.06 per gallon recorded last week, which remained essentially unchanged.
