Alex Marquez Secures Victory in 2025 Portugal MotoGP Sprint Race
Portimão, Portugal – November 9, 2025 – Alex Marquez of Gresini Ducati claimed a decisive victory in teh MotoGP Sprint race at the Algarve International Circuit today, November 8, 2025, finishing with a margin of +5.276 seconds over second-place finisher Franco Morbidelli. The race, held under clear skies, saw a dynamic battle for position amongst the premier class riders.
This Sprint race result is particularly significant as it sets the stage for Sunday’s main Grand Prix event, influencing grid positions and providing valuable data for race strategy. World Champion Francesco Bagnaia finished eighth, +8.898 seconds back, with Brad Binder of Red Bull KTM in ninth, +9.052 seconds behind Marquez. paul Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Tech3) rounded out the top ten, +10.121 seconds in arrears.
