Zach Bryan Shatters U.S. Concert Attendance Record at Michigan Stadium

ANN ARBOR,MI – Zach ⁢bryan delivered a​ history-making ⁢performance Saturday night,drawing a crowd of 112,408 to Michigan⁣ Stadium,setting a new U.S.record for the largest ⁣ticketed concert attendance. The ⁣show surpassed George Strait’s previous ‌record of 110,905 set in Texas last⁢ year, and eclipsed a mark held by the Grateful Dead since 1977.

The concert, the first ⁢of its kind in the 98-year history of the iconic “Big House,” signifies a major moment for both Bryan’s career and the venue itself, opening the door for future large-scale musical events at the university of Michigan’s football stadium. AEG Presents, the show’s promoter, ‍announced the attendance figure Sunday afternoon, also noting that the concert generated approximately⁣ $5 million in merchandise sales – a figure they claim is also a U.S. record.

Bryan’s two-hour ‍set was supported‌ by performances from John Mayer, Ryan Bingham and the⁤ Texas Gentlemen, and Joshua slone. University of Michigan officials expressed hope that Bryan’s successful concert will pave the way for more musical events at Michigan Stadium ⁣in the⁢ future.
