Microsoft has scheduled the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 for Sunday, June 7, featuring a combination of first-party studio reveals and third-party partner announcements.
The broadcast is set to begin at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, 1 p.m. Eastern Time and 6 p.m. UK time. The event will provide first gameplay looks and updates on upcoming titles across the Xbox ecosystem, ranging from major established franchises to independent projects.
Gears of War: E-Day Direct
Immediately following the main showcase, Microsoft will host a dedicated presentation titled Gears of War: E-Day Direct. This session will be led by The Coalition Studio and will focus exclusively on the origin story of the Gears of War saga.
The E-Day Direct is intended to provide players with new gameplay footage and narrative insights into the events of Emergence Day, the central catalyst of the series’ timeline.
Project Pipeline and Accessibility
In addition to the Gears of War presentation, the showcase is expected to provide updates on the development and release windows for other high-profile titles, including Fable and a remake of Halo.
The event will be streamed across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. To accommodate a global audience, the broadcast will be available in over 40 languages and will include accessibility features such as American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and English audio descriptions.
The double-feature event remains scheduled for June 7.
