Washington Huskies Dominate UC Davis 70-10 in Decisive Victory
Seattle, WA – The Washington Huskies delivered a commanding performance Saturday, overwhelming the UC Davis Aggies 70-10 in front of a crowd of 65,421 at Husky Stadium. The Huskies’ offense proved unstoppable, racking up 628 total net yards compared to UC Davis’ 218.
Washington’s running game was particularly potent, with 324 rushing yards on 46 attempts. Running back Coleman led the charge, finding the endzone multiple times with runs of 15, 1, 7, and 5 yards. D. Williams also contributed with an 8-yard touchdown run.
The Huskies quickly established control in the first quarter, jumping to a 14-3 lead. Thay continued to build momentum throughout the game, adding 28 points in the second quarter alone, highlighted by a stunning 78-yard punt return for a touchdown by Boston.
UC Davis struggled to keep pace, managing only a 45-yard field goal by Ridley in the first quarter and a 1-yard pass from Pinnick to Perez in the second. Their offense was hampered by a strong Washington defence and a significant disparity in first downs (34 for Washington,13 for UC Davis).
