Tucker Carlson⁢ Presses Sam Altman on ⁢Death of OpenAI Employee, Mother‘s Murder Allegation

NEW YORK – During a tense interview, Tucker Carlson directly questioned Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI,‌ about the death of ⁢an employee and a ⁣claim by the employee’s mother that Altman ordered the killing. The exchange, which occurred on⁢ Carlson’s show *X*, centered around the circumstances surrounding the death and the mother’s⁢ accusation.

The employee was found dead⁢ with blood in multiple rooms, exhibiting signs of a struggle, Carlson stated. He noted the surveillance camera wires had been cut,‍ the employee had recently returned from a vacation on Catalina Island, and there was no indication of suicidal ideation⁣ – no note or reported behavioral changes, and a recent phone call with a family member. “So that’s unfeasible. Seems really obvious he was murdered,” Carlson⁤ said. He then pressed Altman, ⁣”Um, and ⁤his mother claims he was murdered on your orders.”

Altman responded by asking, “Do you believe that?”‍ Carlson clarified he was “asking” and acknowledged the ⁣seriousness of the situation, stating, “I ⁣think that ‍it is, um, worth looking into. And I don’t…⁤ I meen, if a guy comes out and accuses your company of⁣ committing crimes, I have no idea if that’s true or not, of course. um, and then he is found killed, and there are signs of a struggle. I… I don’t think it’s worth dismissing ⁣it…I don’t think we shoudl say, well, he killed himself when⁤ there’s no evidence that the guy was depressed at all.”

Altman stated he had not spoken to authorities about the death and claimed he offered to⁣ speak with the employee’s mother, but she declined. carlson then questioned whether the situation fueled public ⁢anxieties about openai, asking if Altman⁤ felt the accusations reflected ⁢broader ”worries they have about what’s happening here?” Altman responded he hadn’t experienced manny interviews where he’d been directly ⁢accused of such ⁤acts, and Carlson reiterated he was simply relaying the mother’s claim.
