Former ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Star Mia Thornton Arrested at Atlanta airport
ATLANTA – Mia Fields-Thornton, known for her appearances on Bravo’s ”The Real Housewives of Potomac,” was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday and booked into the Fulton County Jail, according too Atlanta Police Department records. The arrest stems from allegations of larceny related to furniture taken from a furnished rental condo following her move to Atlanta.
Fields-Thornton, 38, is accused of stealing $11,000 worth of furniture, including a television, from a condo she vacated on October 28th. The condo owner filed a police report on November 6th, alleging Fields-Thornton moved out in the middle of the night without providing notice.
Fields-Thornton announced her departure from “RHOP” and relocation to Atlanta in April via Instagram, stating she was beginning a “new chapter” and pursuing “exciting opportunities.” She appeared in four seasons of the reality show.
According to her Instagram profile, Fields-Thornton founded The House of Miamor, a company focused on empowering women to build and “own, not just manage” their businesses.
FOX 5 has reached out to Fields-Thornton for comment.She has been charged with larceny, officials confirmed.
