ŠKODA Unveils EPIQ, Targeting Affordable Electric Vehicle Market
PARIS, France – ŠKODA AUTO has revealed the EPIQ, a new all-electric crossover positioned as the Czech automaker’s most affordable electric vehicle to date. The vehicle is designed to comfortably accommodate five passengers with at least 475 liters of luggage space and boasts an anticipated range of up to 425 kilometers on a single charge.The EPIQ represents ŠKODA’s commitment to expanding its electric vehicle lineup and making EVs accessible to a wider audience. The company aims to price the production version competitively with the petrol-powered ŠKODA Kamiq in many markets, with a target base price of around 25,000 euros (approximately 610,000 Czech crowns at current exchange rates).This move comes as the automotive industry rapidly transitions towards electrification, and ŠKODA seeks to maintain its position as a key player in the evolving landscape.

With the EPIQ, we are taking another step to make electric vehicles a practical and attractive choice for everyday drivers.”
Unlike the Superb model, the EPIQ will not be manufactured in the Czech Republic.Production is slated to take place at the Volkswagen Navarra plant in Spain, alongside related electric vehicles from the Volkswagen and Cupra brands. The serial version of the ŠKODA EPIQ is expected to be officially unveiled to the public next year.
