Russian Strike Kills six in Kyiv, Ukraine Retaliates with Drone and Missile attacks
KYIV, Ukraine – A Russian attack on Kyiv Friday resulted in the deaths of six civilians and injuries to dozens more, Ukrainian officials reported. The strike, which utilized drones, came as Ukraine launched a wave of retaliatory attacks targeting russian soil, including oil refineries and military infrastructure.

Ukraine confirmed striking targets in Novorossiysk, a key Russian oil export port, damaging an oil depot, pipeline infrastructure, and coastal structures. A source within Ukraine’s security Service, speaking anonymously, stated the attack damaged oil-loading stands and sparked a large fire. Falling debris also damaged a civilian vessel in the port, injuring three crew members, and damaged residential buildings, hospitalizing one resident.
